The Full moon blanket is made using the Icelandic Sunrise technique we´ve developed earlier, and is fun to knit. We´ve knitted the blanket from corner to corner in diagonal stripes.

A perfect blanket to knit when the baby is soon to be due and youhaven´t knitted any:) It´s entertaining and quick to knit. The colours and pattern makes this a super fun project. The blanket is airy, soft, warm and super stretchy i lovely Abuelita 3-ply!

The blanket is knitted in Pickles Thin Organic Cotton DK, wich is perfect for this tecnique, as it is spun from one thick and one very tin ply. Where other yarns would split in the loosely knitted parts, this yarn holds itself together and make the waves look fantastic!
